Company data from multiple sources collected in one place
Researching a company before a sales call required manual searches of LinkedIn, Crunchbase and several other sources. The absence of a single place collecting this data made preparation take longer and divided the salesperson's attention.
Before
Before every call, the salesperson had to collect information about the company: who managed it, how large it was and what had happened there recently. One source provided information about people, another financial data and another industry news. Collecting it took roughly half an hour to an hour, and information was still often missed.
Discovery
The sources differed in structure and in the information they provided: some contained financial data, some information about people and others company events. The question went beyond aggregation. We wanted to determine whether AI could turn the combined data into a coherent, useful briefing before a call rather than merely returning a list of results from separate services.
What we tested
- Collecting information in one place — can the application automatically collect financial data, information about management and recent company events from various external sources?
- A ready-made overview instead of a list of links — can the collected information be presented as a coherent picture of the company that a salesperson can use immediately before a call?
What changed
Instead of searching several services one by one, the salesperson enters the company name and receives an overview within seconds: who manages the company, what has happened there recently and its key financial data. Preparation time for sales calls has been reduced significantly.
Client decision
The client received a working solution for internal use.
