On-site decisions that do not need to be retrieved from messages

Notes, photographs and decisions remain assigned to a specific project, location and stage of delivery.

Problem

Decisions made during a site walk-through or a short meeting are clear at the time, but a few days later it can be difficult to reconstruct exactly what they concerned.

What the prototype demonstrates

  • A description, photograph and location marked on the plan form a single record assigned to the project and its current stage.
  • Each matter can have a status, owner and deadline — the solution distinguishes a reported issue from an approved change.
  • The collected records can be used to prepare a change log or a list of open items.

Outcomes for the client

  • Meeting participants work from facts rather than relying on what they remember from previous discussions.
  • There are fewer disputes caused by differing interpretations of earlier conversations.
  • Documentation of agreements with the investor is ready without additional work.
